Alberta's Provincial Hiring Freeze - an effort to save millions in provincial spending, refers to it's time span as 'indefinite'.

Notably, positions available at the Fort Mcmurray Oil Sands Discovery Centre have been impacted. Doug Knight, union president, estimates 22,000 members will be impacted by the hiring freeze.
