There are a lot of things to do in Fort McMurray, from golfing to canoeing and other water sports. La Loche, Wabasca, and Wandering River are just some of the best places for canoeing and boating in the area.

Golfing is also a popular activity in the Athabasca Dunes Ecological Reserve and Birch Mountains Wildlife Park.
